Think if buyers (big money people, not day traders) are waiting to purchase after sales numbers come out... Would they rather buy at higher or lower prices? Would they have to wait until official numbers released... Most likely, correct?

Did the debt investors know what the books look like.. Of course.

Big picture, this is orchestrated and a lot of people are going to get caught.
