The greatest benefit for INTC from loT will be in the enormous amount of web traffic they will generate.

Probably, though I wouldn't expect all of them to create traffic in the internet rather than local network (which is accessible from outside on demand). Doesn't matter though, since web traffic is going to increase in any case and that's a positive for Intel (as long as they keep ARM distant there).
