Nurses Lounge, A Professional Network for Nurses

Nurses Lounge (Nurseslounge.com), is a professional network for nurses (think “Linkedin” for Nurses) built from the ground up for the nursing profession and designed, as membership grows, to attract a sizable portion of the billions of dollars spent each year by companies looking to reach nursing professionals including employers, agencies, continuing education providers as well as medical and drug manufacturers to name a few.

Additionally, Nurses Lounge is configured to solve many of the communication challenges faced by the nursing professions three major stakeholder organization types; nursing schools, professional associations and employers. Nurses Lounge does
this through their ‘interactive lounge’ pages which provides.

Nursing schools the ability to manage and build alumni programs and distribute news and info to the broader nursing profession,
Nurse associations an alternative to outdated static websites or social pages including a safe professional online environment for members to network and interact in and,

CEO is Tim Armes. Tim is former founder of jobs.com. With Jobs.com he was able to get financing and funding through some big name companies. Most notably $62 million from CBS.

Nurseslounge currently operates revenues from job postings on their website. There are currently over 1000 jobs posted. Jobs are being added daily with some as new as 3/15/15!

In early November 2014, we combined the job board and network allowing members a single sign-on. With this in place, sales representatives began for the first time sells of unlimited job posting packages for a term of 6 months at a cost of $3,600 and 12 month terms for $6,000.00. In early December, we had closed and collected on our first annual unlimited job posting sale and as of December 17 th each sales representative had multiple interested prospects in their sale’s pipeline.

With this increased sales activity we are also seeing greater interest in our single 60-day job postings priced at $245.00. We have additionally created volume discounts for employers buying 5 and 10 job posting credits upfront. We believe we now have a very competitive price point that can fit any size of employer looking to hire nurses."

On September 2, Nurses Lounge officially launched version 2.0 of their professional network for nurses after a month of beta testing that began on August 1, 2014. On November 21 st the mobile app was approved by Apple to be available for download in the APP Store.

We have spoken with Tim. A few things he has said will be released soon possibly within the next week or two:
