Yup but this is one piece of a multiple piece puzzle that has to come together. Indeed its good news for gold bugs but I don't think China/US will let the price rip into its own price discovery until the Asians get their fill

If a new monetary system is truly being ushered in behind the scenes then China will have a place at this table. A restructuring of the dollar index and a rebalancing with gold silver etc. is one rumor floating around. Countries will be fairly scrutinized on their CURRENT AND FUTURE debt to GDB parlayed with the amount of gold they own in their treasury.

It certainly would put the US far down that list depending how much gold is really in those vaults. Future entitlements alone would turn the USD into the red headed piñata
