I guess we all have our opinions as to what's ECO FRIENDLY. Throwing my trash in my neighbors yard doesn't make me ECO Friendly it only makes my yard ECO FRIENDLY. Having products made in countries that have little or no EPA standards and pays their employees below poverty level wages is neither ECO FRIENDLY or HUMAN RIGHTS FRIENDLY IMO.
Why are products made in these countries rather than here in our country? Because they are made cheaper..Period. Why can they be made cheaper? The companies don't have to spend millions to meet EPA standards, pay their employees a living wage, and little or no benefits. The average hourly wage of a factory worker in China is less than 1/10th. of a worker in the US. The are forced to work long hrs., an average of 12-16 hrs. a day, without overtime pay and because of poor working conditions they are 3 times more likely to die on the job. Very few get any type of healthcare.
It would be interesting to know exactly what it cost to have one of these BlauAire products made in China but I bet the product that sells for about $70 cost less than $10 to make and ship to the US. Expecially now that I have seen the product.

ECO FRIENDLY? HOW ABOUT HUMANITY FRIENDLY??
