Corrected estimate/conversion for Nanosys production capacity:

I misread an earlier news article. It stated .7g for 40" TV.
http://genesisnanotech.wordpress.com/2013/02/09/the-rise-of-the-nanoco-nano-and-the-efficiency-game-quantum-dots-in-solar-leds-and-lcd-tvs/

Surface area:
39" tv = 4193 insq
Assume conservative 40" = 4400 insq
60" = 9924 insq

Source of numbers:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Display_size

9924/4400 = 2.25 grams per 60" TV

6mil TVs need 2.67mil grams
=2667 kg = 2.67 tons

Nanosys numbers for their solution are significantly misleading if I understand everything correctly. They are barely above what QMC will be able to produce shortly in Q2. They also have been scaling up for years at their factory.

QMC is scaling up in months and will continue to scale up beyond 2 tons this year. We just need some sales to get this party started. Assuming sales will happen, QMC is poised to lead.
