Apr 25, 2006 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- Consolidated Energy Inc (OTCBB:CEIW), a coal mining operations company, announced on Monday (24 April) that it has begun supplying American Electric Power Co (AEP) under a 36-month coal supply contract.
The contract has a face value of approximately USD73m and does not include additionally available incentives.
Under the contract the company's wholly owned subsidiary, Eastern Consolidated Energy Inc, will deliver to AEP's Big Sandy plant a minimum of 40,000 tons of coal per month until February 2009.
