Just created this board because I have a burning question.

For some reason, I see people saying the January low on WTI was 44.37, which agrees with every chart I have looked at as well. Actually, no, it depends on the chart looked at. And the CME misquotes were just last week, not last month.

However, I distinctly remember watching closely as $38.8xs printed. I have forgotten which day specifically it was, but I do remember it playing with $41.xxs, etc.

I am wondering how the historical charts are so far off what trading was actually like? I don't think I'm so delusional that those are false memories. Of course, I would have to consider the possibility.
