What's amazing is that if I listened to that audio early last year I would have had no idea what the heck they were talking about, but now, I clearly understood what they are saying and it made me even more aware of how disruptive GW will be in IT.

I tweeted PB just recently asking if GW has been improved over the last year (this was after it had already been refined into being worked onto a chip) or if what it can do was just being better understood / delineated. I now realize it probably is both and GW is being powered up constantly and its uses are being recognized by people other than just John Morelli.

It is kind of like what Steve Jobs did with the smartphone. People thought the flip phone was just great and then when the smartphone arrived it blew everyone away and Apple became what it is today. Maybe a second coming of such a disruptive event is on the horizon for Sphere? Fingers crossed but what is even better is that in the audio PB says that J Morelli doesn't just envision where GW could go, he already has the design figured out!

The analogy of Sphere/GW to a rocket ship becomes more apparent all the time IMO.

Edit: If Morelli/PB says that GW can address GPU concerns, I will believe them rather than some other poster of which I know not their background. Even if they have a solid IT background, they don't have the knowledge of GW to know what it can and can't do. What was thought only possible yesterday is proven wrong today as new technology comes on board.
