This morning in the Montreal papers I was reading about the oil situation. Cushing is about full, but they were mentionning "Billions of liters of unused storage by the Gulf of Mexico" (can't link, it's in French). Who to believe? Those who might have an agenda?
Remember the first time that the world came to an end? Mine was that Black Monday of October 1987. I was just starting to trade. I forget the details but Dow crashed like 500 points, all hell broke loose until the Maestro came in and took control. Lowered rates and Dow was back up again.
I've lived through many other world changing times and will probably live to be old enough to see many more. I really believed Sept 2008 was going to end all economic life on Earth. Will this newest crisis end all again? We'll see. Whatever happens, you and I both lived through the best of times. The money I'm saving now goes towards the heritage I'll be leaving my 4 kids because I think that they'll be needing it way more than I will.
All the best, sir. That drasted list awaits!
