The exact opposite would be true. The earning (for a company who was broke in the 4th Q) will be impressive $50 M+ so that will be positive for the SP.

Announcing that they have received the OK from FINRA to conduct the RS will drive any shorters to climb over their Mothers to cover.

Together would be a positive thing for the market.
