We must find a "friendlier" source for oil. Canada's oil sands represent both short and medium term solutions. oil sands must be mined and the resource tapped which will give the lead time needed to perfect alternative energy sources. it has been said that the oil sands will satisfy north america's energy needs for the next 100 years...that gives scientists and others plenty of time to perfect the next methods of power supply.

oh and by the way-we make a little money in the mean time :)
