Hdhick, the new guy is doing exactly what Greenspan did, keep raising rates until you get a recession going and inflation will come down. Then all the people who don't work will still have what they have and the rest of the workers will just have to pay a little more, us! Very soon, after this washout of our good equities (not this gamble that we are in) the employment picture may change. I hope not! Academic snobs saying they don't need to care about the markets.
