EARNINGS RULE:

I have had a few people ask about what qualifies. Here is the rule. A stock MUST REPORT QUARTERLY. Other than that, ANY stock that meets the following definition qualifies.

The technical definition for earnings is this. If ANY single one of these four things are true, then it qualfies for VMC - and for PSL3 for that matter.

It has more earnings than losses in:

1) The most recent quarter
2) The most recent 2 quarters
3) The most recent 3 quarters
4) The most recent 4 quarters

You can have one stock that fails to meet this requirement, but at least 5 of the 6 must meet it.
