the fda has way more than enough cause to become involved if they so choose and if it is in their jurisdiction to do so...
I wish i knew more about FDA regulations to know if it would be in their jurisdiction. I might have to look into it...later
on a side note...I have been told that the pilot facility is not in the U.S... but apparently import/export in regards to Vietnam is an unresolved issue?..
apparently the pilot facility doesn't have issues...hmmmm
I have heard that, too, but only from posters on this board. Is there any truth to it? If so, maybe that is how they escaped the FDA.
so in all the countries in the world where they can sell the stolen product, its safe to say that they will be able to make a fortune and the theft will be well worth it..
that's the bottom line after all...money
a drop in the bucket compared to the amount of money made officially.
and if rice is such a hot commodity, why would he take an at will position for less than hes worth?..and if hes such a hot commodity, why did kim only offer him an at will position?...
because kblb is such a great opportunity?...im not gonna by that tired old phrase..
His old coworker did state that Jon thought that KBLB would be a great opportunity for him, like it or not. That was the reason given to me.
I assume the "at will" employment is to ensure that if suddenly the silkworms die off or Jon isn't as great as Kim hoped he would be, then Jon could be terminated. I assume that Jon knows that he can live up to the high expectations and grow this company. After the one year contract is up, I would expect to see a longer, more perminant contract in place if Jon is as good as I think.
His experience in management may be "small time", but KBLB is currently a small company as AMI was when he hired on. He helped grow AMI until it was acquired by Ultra Electronics, so I am sure he has the ability to help grow KBLB just as well.
