That is how the oil business works, no one understands it better. That is how he explained it to me. I love the fact that we go to court, win, then have the acumen to put it aside and go with the people we went to court against. It was explained to me that the oil business has a shady side. That is a fact. I could see someone unfamiliar getting upset and walking away. That is fine, and in this case preferred. I say let them see the negative side. It is clearly who some folks are. Nothing can be done about it...except not going into the oil sector. It is a dirty business at times. Going into business with people you went to court against isn't common, but it does happen enough for me to look from the outside and applaud the "get over it" ism. The bottomline is the bottomline. Funny how Devon is honoring their drilling commitments. That baby is ignored or thrown out with the bathwater. They have plans for more drilling with Devon and others. Forget the idea that SE has millions of his own money already committed, to see this through. Nope nothing good happening here. LOL.
Most times in biotech and probably every business, a judge will tell all parties they better settle, before a case makes it to verdict. They end up in business together. People are moved around to put the right people were something good can come out of it. It happens....probably more often than we know. So much positive in seeing a large...maybe the largest case already settled.
The biggest thing here is that this first settlement means outsiders see who is involved and they didn't just jumped...they leaped on the opportunity. You have to be blind to not see what is happening.
I was willing to write this off, until I saw good people in Dan and SE getting past differences. When I saw that...I thought OK....we have some special people and assets here. This should confirm for everyone what is going to happen. Mud slingers sling mud...so what. Business people do business. I like the fact that that is the driving force behind this company. Damn the hurdles, full speed ahead.
