Because Earnie knows that Scottrade would have contacted N! and requested the new shares...If they didn't, their ^&*&654 would be hung out to dry (IMO). Scottrade then has to wait for N1 to send the shares.
As old stockholders, all we can do is put pressure on Scottrade so they in turn keep the pressure on N1...

It would tend to make one wonder about the business practices of N1 if they don't send back the shares in a timely manner.
