Old fav bought out

Rti...an old fav..was bought out by alcoa today...up 40%...news stories focus on rti as titanium company...but last year it also went hard into 3d printing..to gain access to growing 3d printed titanium market
This begs the question...is alcoa moving toward 3d printed aluminum?...reinforced alum is now being used instead of steel for trucks like ford f150...
