That is what the Fidelity trading specialist told me. (of course due to less shares available after R/S people tend to cover before)

But she also told me that short positions in general have to be covered within 3 days. Is that a fidelity policy, applies to all bigger brokers, or just not fully correct unless no shares are available after the settlement date...anyone???????
