"Defensive stocks are always Pharmaceuticals! "

Not no-sales, dilutive financed, no ROI, 98% loss to common shares micro caps like OCAT?

That ain't a defensive stock in any way, shape or form and it's not a what investors refer to as a "Defensive Pharma" play.

"defensive" stocks are:

1) Large cap (usually mega cap) stalwarts who dominate their industries. In the case of Pharm that would be the Merck, Pfizer, Eli Lilly, etc of this world.

2) Defensive stock plays are cash generating monsters and ALWAYS pay a dividend- that's part of what makes them "defensive", they return PROFITS and CASH back to their investors. Always.

3) Defensive stock have long, long, long histories of ever increasing dividends- as in 10 or 15 or 20 yrs of always increasing their divi yr after yr w/o fail- which means they have long, long histories of ever increasing PROFITS via which to pay those dividends.

OCAT is the farthest thing from a "Defensive Pharma" there probably is. Not even close. No comparison or even remote linkage between OCAT and the concept of a "defensive Pharma" or defensive stock of any kind. None.
