I had thought it would take helicopters and dogsleds to get to the meeting in that area and time, or that even if people *could* get out they would be guarding their shoveled parking spaces, or trying to find their way from the car to their house. : )

My condolences on your recent weather.

I'm 1000 miles to the west, slightly west of Chicago.
At least in the age of webcasts one can stay somewhat up to date, even in the frozen Midwest tundra.
