"The shares of the Company will trade ex-distribution on March 6, 2015, meaning that purchasers of the Company’s shares after March 6, 2015, will not receive Spinco shares pursuant to the Arrangement."


Trading ex-distribution on March 6 means trading without the Spinco shares on March 6. This is contradicted later in the sentence. He may have meant to say it will trade ex-distribution on March 9.

Right now we don't know. Anybody with a line of communication to the President should get this clarified and have him issue an amended announcement.
