The lumber that was purchased and used to shore up most of the rehab was at least 6x6 timber purchased from a mill in Redding, CA. Unless you have been to the mine in person, you can't speculate what was purchased and used. I took pictures of what was used and there are pictures on the website showing the bundles of lumber after they were shipped. Whether you choose to believe a first person report or pictures at the mine from the website is not up for discussion. There are places in the tunnel that go up 2 stories with 6x6 timber used to shore up the ceiling.
