Nice article, but it's really just another example of prototyping and/or single/unique/custom part manufacturing. INSPECT® would likely not have helped them in this case. From what I understand, INSPECT® doesn't work for one offs. It's purpose is to match bulk part data to a master part's "fingerprint" data.

That's why it's taking so long. The use of 3D printing for mass production is just getting started. GE is leading the charge on this and SGLB is in "lock step".
