Just got off the phone with ......

a lady (Vicki Kelly) that's in charge of acquisitions, etc. for Newmont Mining in Denver, their corporate office. I called just to make her aware of the AURC properties in Russia, as these properties would make a great asset for Newmont shareholders. I informed her of NDOL's (since it's basically the same people) quick merger and noted that AURC was most likely on the block for sale or merger as well. She stated that she's never heard of Aurus. She noted that Newmont hasn't done much in the way of business in Russia and I noted where AURC's CEO states the government has welcomed his company with open arms. I indicated that NDOL's merger (and of course informed her that it was oil only) was valued at $500 million and that AURC's gold & silver assets extended over $6 plus billion, making it a great money maker for a company like Newmont. She asked who the contact person there was and I said Gerald Parkin. She then asked for his phone number and I gave it to her. I told her that AURC was a public company and gave her the symbol so she could look up the PR's and learn a little more.

One thing's for sure ..... Newmont now knows who AURC is.
