HHSE Presents "The Most Terrifying Arctic Thriller Since 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo'"
Irish director Johnny O'Reilly also speaks fluent Russian - so he was the ideal candidate to direct the intense, international thriller, "THE WEATHER STATION." Combining elements of the arctic isolation of "THE THING" with the intense-suspense of "THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO," this Russian-language feature has the potential to cross into a much wider audience.
A plan back in 2012 to submit this film for the Academy Awards in the category of Best Foreign Film hit the obstacle of the Russian Film Committee having other priorities. Ultimately, a one-screen theatrical test and a release to DVD this month, proved to be the best strategy for HHSE.
DVD's of "THE WEATHER STATION" will start shipping next week!
