YB, Re: OEM's will love this desktop replacement 2800, as it is definitely more reliable in notebook than P4 at 2.8 Ghz.

What makes you say this? Both Mobile Athlon and Pentium 4 processors are full power chips shoehorned into small form factors. Besides, we already know that the 2.8GHz Pentium 4 outperforms the Athlon at the same rating, not to mention that the 3.06GHz Mobile Pentium 4 is already available.

As for the low voltage versions, 2000+ is only 1.67GHz, let's not forget. Centrino now runs at 1.7GHz, and it's faster per clock. I've also had a chance to use Centrino integrated graphics, and it plays games at full frame rate - very smooth.

As usual, AMD will compete on cost alone. There is nothing special about this release that proves it will sell another 30-50k CPUs. At best, it might stop the drain caused by some of Intel's more competitive mobile processors that were released last week.
