Could very well be 2 different issues, yet I know that others (non-pension accounts held at other banks) had been affected by the BBH issue, and had been asked to transfer or sell their SIAF shares.
I can definitely see where pension funds (similar to any institution) would not permit holding OTC shares, but it appears kind of ironic that this same bank had been filing a 13G on behalf of its pension holdings the last 2 years, and now all of a sudden have become vigilant in having OTC shares removed from client accounts.
Again, I think that all of these houses are looking to limit exposure, yet I had hoped that they wouldn't do it in one fell swoop.
