MONTREAL--(MARKET WIRE)--May 16, 2006 -- Nord Oil International Inc. / North-West Oil Group (Other OTC:NDOL.PK - News) filed form NT-10Q to delay the filing of its 10QSB to assure all subsequent events are recorded in the quarter filing and provide its shareholders with all necessary financial information regarding Nord Oil and the North-West Oil Group including but not limited to the description of the its combined oil and gas reserves which add up to over 200 million barrels of probable and proven reserves, which are currently under license and being operated by the North-West Oil Group.

The current market value for 200 million barrels of crude oil is approximately USD $14,000,000,000.

The company also reported that the merger would be completed without any reverse split of the common stock, however the name would be changed to North-West Oil Group.
