biosteel is a flop. they dont even try to make fiber anymore as far as I know. They make foams films gels etc. I wouldnt doubt they have a guy still trying but they are not putting any money in it cause they learned their lesson about goo.
RL learned. Amsilk learned. Spiber will learn. But some people will never get it and as you said will be here in a decade still saying goo is the threat
