Probably more, because they want to build a deluxe object.

If the built 1m watches with each 29 gram, that means, they need at least 348 tons of pure gold 2015.
If they use two ounces, that would be around 700 tons.

People, if you know apple, you know that they don't make half things. If i look at their sale figures for their products, i know that they can easily sale 1m golden watches per month for 5000$."
