I think SPRL and PBLS will both be good plays. SPRL is good for one reason because it is way oversold with lots of potential and plenty of upside left in it. PBLS is in the right business to capitalize not only on the oil side but also on the hurricane side of it. The trends tend to change often, so unless you are glued to the computer all summer it is hard to catch the few that really run, so I like to try and get in on the low and ones that seem to have lot of hope. (Also stock with a low float or company buying back shares is a big plus. Much better than the ones steadily diluting)
PS. This is only my opinion and could 100% off. As always dont invest more than you can afford to lose.
