The well still has 170 barrels of water (7,224 gallons) from the frac job in the formation that will
have to be removed before full potential of the well can be realized. The water acts as a weight
on the formation that the gas has to overcome before it can rise to the surface. Currently the well
pressure is 600 PSI and should continue to rise as the weight of the water is removed.
Due to the sever drought in the area and the extreme risk of grass fire the test was
conducted with the smallest choke that we had available. The choke that we used was
a 1/8” orifice which is a slightly bigger then the diameter of a pencil lead used in a
typical # 2 pencil that you probably have on your desk.
