The family I know has an acre if I remember. There home has a stone at the gable dated 1794 or 1796. 14 room house renovated with a running creek behind the house. The creek has a constant flow due to its elevation. It begins where there property line stops. On the other side there is an Amish family and I would see him plowing with a mule or horse. The family I stayed with kept the meats for them in their freezer. Their religion prevented them from owning such things. Worldly things. There life style is that of an earlier time in the country, kinda like the pioneers.
