Sadly, there is no such thing as pre-approval for 1603 grants. So his claim was bogus.

1603 Federal Renewable Energy grant ...

There is an unresolved question about the recipient of the 1603 Federal Renewable Energy Grant that was mentioned in the Kirton-McConkie "memorandum". That document is available on the RaPower3 website. The following statement is in that document:

The Treasury Department has made a grant under Section 1603 of the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act of 2009 with respect to the same model of solar lenses as the Solar Lenses and related equipment, which grant required a finding by the Treasury Department that such solar lenses and related equipment constituted property described in Code Section 48(a)(3)(A)(i) or (ii).

A member of the RagingBull Pumper Patrol (poster "saxons") attempted to direct attention away from the grant issue by saying IAS "qualifies for a much superior solar grant". However, an upper level RaPower3 "team member" specifically mentioned "1603" grants, and said IAS had received "Phase One approval".

Sadly, there is no such thing as pre-approval for 1603 grants. So his claim was bogus.

Following is an early January 2012 image of the RaPower3 News page that made the bogus "Phase One approval" claim:

http://IAUSenergy.com/RaPower3/Pages/Com/20120113-News.pdf

Also, on that same page, the "Magic Ball" was displayed and referred to as the "new solar energy heat exchanger", with the following claim: "It is literally one thousand times smaller than a conventional heat exchanger."

Later, the "Magic Ball" was renamed to the "heat collector", then yet another miracle of IAS technology became the "new solar energy heat exchanger". That one is also [allegedly] 1,000 times smaller than a conventional heat exchanger.

Can't these guys get their claims straight?

Here's a thought to ponder ... the above snapshot of the RaPower3 "News" page is just one of "many, many" (to borrow a Shepard'ism) pages available in my robust archive. Some of those pages will likely cause an eyebrow or two to be raised in the courtroom if/when this [alleged] "forthcoming action" ever takes place.

Sure is a pretty day.
