Wow that was not a "little DD" that was serious digging but even if she did use the money from a home equity line what does have to do with the stock itself? IF your suspicion is right that means one investor REALLY believes in this company. She is either right or wrong...For her sake I REALLY hope she is right. I personally couldn't imagine risking my home on anything much less a penny stock but hey I will be jealous if it makes her a millionaire:)
