The fda is much more concerned about their image than saving a few poor cancer victims. Look how quickly they pulled ponatinib and I would love to know how many people died because of that decision. They have absolutely no accountability; they can do whatever they want, much the way Berger could do whatever he wanted before Denner came on board. Too much power without a system of checks and balances is a recipe for disaster.
