No, this hasn't been covered yet. First time I've heard of 30m x 30m tanks. Although I vaguely remember maybe they were planning these for PF2 as well.

You can see the darker ground area. These will be the RAS semi open dams in between the white buildings. In the other direction we apparently have 30m x 30m tanks. I always assumed it would be the processing factory and related facilities.

As I said before, they can only grow medium sized prawns in 3m deep tanks. That's because they sink to the bottom when they get bigger. All IMO. That's why they need RAS open dams to grow the bigger species. These will probably only be 1m deep.

So the big tanks are probably a mix. Maybe not as deep, but fully controlled with clean water.

The trick is to use clean water in order to prevent disease from spreading. That is why you can grow many many many more fish/prawn in those tanks relative to ordinary open dams. This may seem obvious to a RAS grower but I have seen quite a few RAS growers that do not have clean water like SIAF, not even close. And it will affect the growth rate as well.

Nice work HB. I hope you don't get charged with corporate espionage. Although that probably only applies to the shorts wink
