You're missing the whole point. If you want to trade THIS etf, then who cares "what" dictates it. That isn't going to make you any money. What is going to make you money is what "this" etf's chart is doing.

Sure, other things make the price move, but those things aren't making/losing people money, it's the price movement itself (which again, is what "this" chart is monitoring).

You are overthinking things.
