The initial rumor was a BLX IC wanted to buyout AMD. Later it was rumored that BLX IC wanted to make a significant investment in AMD. Neither company has addressed any of the rumors and it would be in BLX IC's interests to lower investors expectations in order to maintain AMD at a lower share price if the initial rumor is true. That makes me suspect a buyout is more likely. Either way, I feel AMD is still undervalued at the moment.
