Nupapa, That study dealt with circulating cancer cells in the bloodstream, which is a very similar tact as Google-x has taken. MRX differs in that it detects conglomerations of cancer cells called tumors rather than free circulating cells. Also that study was about metastatic (cancer that has spread to or resurfaced in other parts of the body) breast cancers and determining the type of breast cancer as determined by hormone receptors. MRX could detect, locate and measure the tumor and depending on the bio marker of the NP determine the type. Wouldn't it then be a different cancer like if a breast cancer spread to the lungs wouldn't it then be lung cancer? No. Once the original diagnosis is "breast cancer", any and all future cancers in that patient are also breast cancer no matter where they show up.
