The Cat deal was an early indication of PAL's improving finances.

The Caterpillar Finance vote of credit worthiness tends to substantiate that it is now credit-worthy. This indicates that PAL may soon be able to refinance some of its higher interest loans into lower interest loans. That will save it even more money.
