Gold Diggaa I appreciate your passion but I believe you are digging a deeper hole. The question is not the Cannabix Breathalyzer detecting THC use within a specified time frame. That we all understand. The issue is -as you just stated - "the THC test would then warrant the officer to then legally initiate further more invasive tests without then infringing on privacy/DNA laws."

The operative word is - Laws. There are No Laws on the book that I am aware of in the USA that determines whether or not someone is impaired while driving because they tested positive for THC, either roadside or through a blood test.

So what makes that relevant? Well the THC breathalyzer may prove to be a great front line tool for LAW enforcement, but it must fit into an end result framework.

The argument about blood testing holds true for alcohol not THC. As a matter of fact, The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the National Institute on Drug Abuse have stated that marijuana impairment testing via blood sampling is unreliable.

As far as my statement about bad information, I was wrong. I did not mean to paint a broad brush regarding all information being bad. The RCMP offered very valuable information and insight which I appreciate.

Yes personal attacks need to stop. Both ways. Folks need to quit putting labels on people trying to hash out differences of opinion and/or facts. Thank you all.
