After spending the past 5 days in Bangkok I can tell you that I have not seen one motorcycle taxi meter. And as is the case in Thailand, more and more motor car taxis are refusing to use their meter.

I did see a few motorcycles around with LED strips for show but that was about it.

My buddy lives off Thonglor and he hasn't seen any meters either and that is where they were supposedly testing them.

I rode a motorcycle taxi from the beer garden to my hotel today. 50 baht, could have talked him down to 40 but it is a small amount

I also noticed that with all the makes and models of motorcycles are the wheelies a one size fits all?

Off to pattaya for a few days........
