Well, that's real bright!

The pain journal article authors noted "only 49 patients (33.3%)completed 10 or more consecutive sessions in our study" as they tried to explain the overall mediocre results.

Well, duh! Right? Maybe more important was WHY those patients didn't complete the "sessions." Of course, no doubt the more intelligent ones realized what a WASTE of time it was!

On the other hand, it does seem rather STUPID to evaluate the "success" of a therapy based on 150 patients when only a THIRD of them actually completed the protocol! One would think that perhaps a LITTLE explanation is in order as to WHY so many failed to complete the sessions. Moreover, so far I can't see that they reported the results of those FEW who DID actually complete the protocol.

To be fair, it's a struggle to read when every few seconds you're interrupted by your own uncontrollable laughter! But, have no fear! I'll get through it all eventually!
