Bamboo takes seven years to harvest. A Douglas Fir takes 30 to 60 years!

If I had both growing, some might say I was giving all my attention to the Bamboo and therefore the Douglas Fir project must be a waste of time. In fact 'time' is the issue. To everything there is a season.

As a businessman, there are always fiscal issues to consider. If the Continental 'money tree' is in bloom, you can hardly blame Godin for harvesting its fruit!
