Monimpex is a North American company that is helping Russian companies to go public. They do so by creating "shell" companies, ones with little to no business activity and then allow the Russian companies to "reverse merger" with them and become publicly traded in the U.S.

The owners of Monimpex, by law, have to remain on the board/management. Companies like Nord Oil and Aurus Corp come to Monimpex seeking to go public, maintain majority shareholding and pay Monimpex in shares of the company.

Monimpex claims they only deal with companies with many millions of dollars in assets. They work to raise awareness of the Russian companies and are going to continue to move up in the boards (pink-->OTC BB---->AMEX/NASD???)

So you better believe that these guys want to the pps to go up and that they have the clout to do so.
