That's proof Andy Glew doesn't know what the hell he's talking about. Instruction sets don't mean diddly-squat for enterprise servers. In other words, any 64-bit ISA will do. Server performance is much more a function of system architecture over ISA. And in that sense, the one thing going for Opteron is its HyperTransport architecture.
