bulldzr -- was there and up working through the night it hit a then (and still?) all-time record low of -27, wind NW/NNW 35-40 with gusts to at least near 50, lowest exposed wind chills at least approaching -70 ( http://www.crh.noaa.gov/ddc/?n=windchill ) -- when I heard on the radio it had indeed gotten to -27, decided it'd be a good idea to go out on the c. 45th floor balcony in just my boxers and unlaced sneakers -- maybe 30 seconds was plenty of that, lol
