The big assumption is that Auryn principals don't make money unless the mine proves up. Meanwhile, they already have $6 million worth of stock to do with as they please. And have spent an unknown amount drilling.

The simple answer is Volcan is too big and too public to want to play around with MDMN and it's cast of discredited characters.
